About Me

ThailandEU / US overlapFrom $45/hrHU · EN

I'm a fullstack contractor with 10+ years building production systems—Symfony/PHP backends, integration gateways, ecommerce APIs, and Next.js storefronts. I work B2B through my own business, invoice capable, ~40 hrs/week.

Based in Thailand, overlapping EU and US morning hours (Bangkok 07:00–22:00). Fluent in Hungarian and English; working knowledge of Japanese and Thai. I already ship with European product teams remotely.

Life outside the IDE

Beyond work

A bit about me as a person — so you know who you'd be working with outside the commits and standups.

Stay active

Training, hiking, Krav Maga, Muay Thai — show up, put in the reps, finish what I start.

Outdoors

Cycling, swimming, and beach time in Thailand keep my head clear for long remote days.

Competition

WoW, Dota, FIFA, CS — teamwork and strategy under pressure, same energy I bring to product work.

Collaborate

Clear async updates, honest trade-offs, steady weekly delivery with teams who care about shipping.

Services

Backend-first B2B contract work: APIs, integrations, Symfony migrations, internal tools, and production architecture. Invoice capable · remote · ~40 hrs/week.

API & backend services

Versioned REST APIs with auth, validation, background jobs, and monitoring so partners and frontends can rely on stable contracts.

Integration gateways

Connect CRMs, websites, and third-party tools through adapters and sync pipelines instead of brittle one-off scripts.

Personal Projects

Here are some of my personal projects that reflect what I love building: tools, platforms, and solutions that are useful, scalable, and user-focused.

I know that most of these have an already existing app, but everytime I try to use an existing app, Im getting bombarded with popups, adds, recommendation modals, subscriptions, premium functions. So everytime that happens I just create an app instead.

Case Studies

Representative engagements—the kind of migrations, gateways, and production systems I take on. Problem, approach, result.

Problem

The CRM had grown as a pile of shared scripts and duplicated domain logic. Releases were risky, tests were sparse, and new features kept getting blocked by fear of breaking production.

Approach

Mapped domain boundaries, extracted features into Symfony bundles behind a strangler facade, and shipped behind feature flags. Added CI with unit and integration coverage for each migrated path before turning traffic over.

Result

Migrated modules shipped on a weekly cadence instead of risky big-bang releases. Feature-flagged cutovers cut rollback time from hours to minutes, and CI coverage on migrated paths made deploys routine weekday work.

Problem

Sales and support lived in the CRM while the website ran on a separate stack. Contact data, product status, and order state drifted. Ad-hoc webhooks and PHP scripts failed silently.

Approach

Built a gateway service with clear inbound/outbound adapters, idempotent sync jobs on a message queue, and OpenAPI contracts for both sides. Added retry policies, dead-letter handling, and basic monitoring on sync lag.

Result

Eliminated nightly CSV fixes. Sync lag dropped from hours (or silent failure) to near-real-time with retries and dead-letter visibility. Marketing and partners could trust live CRM state on the site.

Problem

A monolithic shop mixed catalog, cart, payments, and admin UI. Peak traffic caused checkout failures and slow pages; inventory sync with payment providers was unreliable.

Approach

Split catalog, cart, checkout, and orders into Symfony services with REST APIs and background workers for payment and stock sync. Rebuilt the storefront in Next.js with SSR/ISR, caching, and lean assets.

Result

Checkout held through traffic spikes that previously timed out. Storefront TTFB improved via SSR/ISR and caching; payment and stock issues became isolated worker failures instead of whole-site outages.

Problem

Staff ran critical processes through spreadsheets and a fragile shared PHP script on a single VPS. There was no staging environment, no backups strategy, and no clear ownership of the stack.

Approach

Designed a small internal app around the real workflow, containerized it with Docker, and deployed to AWS with staging/production separation, health checks, and documented runbooks for deploys and rollbacks.

Result

Replaced spreadsheet/VPS tribal knowledge with staging + production, health checks, and documented rollbacks. Ops could redeploy without SSH archaeology; handoff docs stayed usable after the engagement ended.
